This was my second stay at the Morristown Best Western in Tennessee. Each time I have found it to be an attractive, clean and friendly location. The rooms are very nice and comfortable, the staff is always appreciative of my stay at their facility and the breakfast is better than many I have had at other hotels. If there is an area that would benefit from improvement, it would be increasing the choices at breakfast. I will probably stay here again in the future.
The overwhelming positive reviews are a bit surprising. It is an average place to stay, at best. The beds were too firm, to the point of being uncomfortable. No pillowtop or memory foam. The hallways and our room smelled like smoke. The air conditioner in the room worked but the thermostat did not function well and we had to turn it way down to get the air to kick on. The breakfast was not very good. The eggs tasted like powdered eggs and the sausage and bacon tasted like it was reheated leftovers from the day before. The waffles were good. The pastries were like you buy out of a grocery store and not freshly made. Overall it may be one of the better options in the immediate area, but I would consider other options if I had to do it again.
Great hotel. The grounds were very neat and clean. The curb appeal is excellent. Staff is great. Room was very clean and smelled clean. Breakfast presentation was more than I expected. The food was good but not great for what I had. My husband loved it. Would have given a ten but I have not found a ten yet. Well worth the money.
What a pleasant night we had. Our check in for easy, fast and professional. Our room was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was awesome. Looking forward to staying again.
My boys and I had stayed at this location while in the area for the NASCAR race weekend in August. Great facility, clean rooms and grounds, friendly and attentive staff. We had issues with our air conditioner when we arrived and the maintenance staff had it fixed in no time, actually replaced it within the day. I would recommend this location for family or business stays. Thanks for making our family trip enjoyable.
